The best way to keep confidentiality is to ask everyone to keep what happens in the group, in the group. It's important to think that you wouldn't want that information shared if it were about yourself, so you shouldn't share others information.
Some support groups that I recommend are:
- Facebook- All you have to do is search for what you are looking for, and a group will appear. This is a broad group, but it is one of the main ways people communicate with each other worldwide.
- Careliving Community-http://careliving.stroke.org/ This support group is to help those who were diagnosed with a stroke, or have had a family member diagnosed. Strokes can be a major change to someones life, and it's important that they can talk through it with others who have been affected by it.
- Diabetes Daily-https://www.diabetesdaily.com/ Being diagnosed with diabetes is a huge life changer. Diabetes daily gives pointers, as well as creates a safe online environment to talk about the lifestyle change. There are many blog posts about things related to diabetes.
- DBSA- https://secure2.convio.net/dabsa/site/SPageServer/?pagename=home This is a depression and bipolar support alliance group. This is important because it allows people with depression and bipolar to come together and talk about their struggles with mental health.
